How FreePNGtoJPG checks tool behavior, output, privacy claims, and limitations.
Review representative scenarios
We inspect how the implementation handles opaque, transparent, photographic, and graphic inputs as appropriate instead of assuming one case represents every image.
Verify the declared output
We check the accepted input, downloaded extension and MIME type, dimensions where relevant, transparency behavior, and the controls that materially change the result.
Trace where the file goes
Browser-only privacy claims are checked against the implementation. A page does not receive that claim merely because another tool on the site runs locally.
Record limitations
Flagship pages document lossy changes, animation loss, first-frame behavior, metadata handling, compatibility boundaries, and other outcomes users need before a large batch.
Review corrections
Reports sent to contact@freepngtojpg.com are checked against the current implementation. Material corrections update the affected page and its review date.
Current review record
Eight core tool implementations were reviewed on September 3, 2026. Each evidence panel states the input boundary, output behavior, processing path, and limitations checked for that specific tool. A review date changes only when the underlying checks are repeated.

These checks cover the web implementation and representative inputs. They are not a certification of every possible file, browser, device, or third-party service.
